Thomas T. "Mike" Mickel, Jr.
President and CEO

Mike founded Dominion Aviation in 1983 as an aircraft management and charter company. Mike, a 27 year veteran of corporate aviation, is dedicated to service and committed to quality with safety at the forefront of every decision. He is an experienced pilot with over 9,000 hours of flight time, is Airline Transport rated and certified to fly numerous corporate jets and helicopters.

He was recently elected in July 2006 to serve as President of the Virginia Aviation Business Association for a two year term.

Each department of Dominion Aviation is led by a creative manager supporting Mike in his vision of aviation excellence. These managers form the solid foundation of the company and each average in excess of eleven years with Dominion Aviation.

Vickie manages day-to-day operations of the flight department as well as the FBO services.

Becky Luther
Chief Flight Instructor

Becky is the Chief Flight Instructor (ATP, CFI, CFII, MEI, IGI) and manager of the flight school. She has been with Dominion since 1994. A registered nurse turned pilot she has been flying for eighteen years. She has 4500 hours of flight time with over 2100 hours of dual instruction given. She has earned the FAA designation of Gold Seal Instructor. Becky holds type ratings in both Citation jets and a North American T-28 Trojan. She is a designated FAA Safety Counselor and Lasergrade Test Supervisor.

As Chief Pilot, Andy leads the pilot selection and oversight functions.
